IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN?!
MOVEMENT + MAGIC + MIMOSAS
Imagine this…
You wake up in a cozy, luxe hotel room in the heart of Salem, sunlight filtering through the windows and the fresh spring air carrying hints of incense, cider, and magic. You grab coffee or tea and join a table full of new friends who instantly feel like your coven. Laughter, stories, and the smell of fresh pastries fill the morning as you settle in for the day.
Then we flow. You move through a master workshop-style yoga class, set to your favorite alt tunes, think goth, emo, and punk vibes that make your practice feel alive. Maybe you land a pose you’ve been dreaming of, or maybe you just sink into your body and feel completely at home. One evening will end with a restorative yin + yoga nidra session lets you melt into the energy of the city, grounding your body and spirit for the adventures ahead.
The day is yours to explore Salem’s enchanting streets and historic corners. Perhaps you wander through cemeteries lined with stories of the past, snap photos at the Bewitched statue, or browse the mystical shops for spell books, crystals, or even a new tattoo. Maybe you sip cider at a local cidery, indulge in Salem’s famed sweets, or just soak in the ambiance while wandering cobblestone streets.
We’ll gather for connection and fun throughout the day:
🧘♀️ Yoga workshops that challenge and nourish
🍫 Cacao ceremony for intention-setting and heart-opening
📸 Coven photoshoot to capture your magical moments
🔮 Tarot + Tacos party (because yes, tacos and tarot)
🎤 Karaoke (sing your heart out!)
🏙️ A guided Salem tour and plenty of free time to wander
✨ And of course, shared laughter, reflection, and connection with your new coven
Dinner is communal, full of stories, belly laughs, maybe even a few cheers to the witches of the past.
Free time to rest, journaling, or lounging with your friends in the hotel’s cozy spaces.
This isn’t just a trip. It’s a full-on magical reset. A chance to connect with your body, your community, and the energy of one of the most mystical towns in the world.
Join us for an intimate, soul-filled retreat in Salem, where history, witchcraft, laughter, and alt-yoga vibes come together in a luxurious downtown haven.

She's all about making yoga accessible to BIPOC and Alternative Folks who may be scared away from trying it because they don’t fit the stereotypical mold for a yoga practitioner. Her classes are intentional and powerful and always open to all-levels.

FAQS
WHY HEALTH GOTH YOGA RETREATS?
Though Health Goth Yoga invites anyone and everyone, HGY is the only brand that regularly hosts yoga retreats that are curated specifically for alternative subculture yoga students around the world and geared to those who love to adventure as well as practice yoga to emo, punk, goth alternative and metal 🤘🏽
CAN I COME IF I’M A BEGINNER OR NEW TO YOGA?
OMG yes, of course! We encourage all levels, genders, body types, ethnicities, orientations, subcultures, anyone and everybody. We get a lot of students who have never done yoga! We ask that you have an open mind + listen to your body!
WHAT IF I’M NOT ‘GOTH”? WILL I FIT IN?
10000% YES! Health Goth Yoga is totally inclusive!! We love everyone!! We don’t care if you don’t like goth music, punk, metal, indie or emo! But a lot of us definitely do! So we just ask that you come with an open mind and willingness to practice yoga to alternative music! Since I teach traditional classes at studios across Boston, there’s usually a handful students who don’t consider themselves alternative, but just love yoga and love adventure! We all vibe and get along great!
CAN I COME ALONE?
Of course, I’d say 75% of people come alone to HGY Retreats! It's a great way to focus on yourself and meet new like minded people! Everyone leaves with life long friendships!
CAN I BRING A PARTNER?
Yes, splitting a bed in a private room is a great way to offset cost! Salem is a great trip to bring a partner to! The location of the hotel is super central to attractions, stores and activities. Even if they don’t like yoga, they will still have fun and you can add them for just $1,250! If they are going to absolutely do zero yoga, send me an email and we can talk about lowering the price slightly more for them.
WHEN IS FULL PAYMENT DUE?
First $750 deposit is due at sign up (plus transaction fees). Second $750 deposit is due December 15th 2025.
Full payment is due February 1st 2026.
DO YOU HAVE A PAYMENT PLAN?
Yes! The first and second deposits are $750 each, but we can split the rest of the payment due across 2-10 payments as long as the full amount is paid in time.
WHAT ABOUT THE ONE MEAL THAT ISN’T INCLUDED?
One of the best things about travelling is trying restaurants and cafes!! We’ll have one meals not included so that you can support other local business and have the chance to explore the city.
WHAT'S THE REFUND POLICY?
We know yoga retreats are an investment of time and money. I suggest getting Travelers Insurance after placing your deposit (up to 14 days after signing up to be covered). This can cover canceled or missed flights, lost luggage, and some travel insurance cover for sickness or cover if you want to cancel for any reason (CFAR).
If you cancel up to 2 months prior to retreat, any payments after your two non-refundable deposits can be refunded (but not your deposits itself.) After two months, there are no refunds.
All deposits and payments can be transferred until one month prior to the retreat, but you are responsible for finding your replacement.
After one month prior to retreat, there are no refunds and no transfers. As a small one-person business that has contracts with venues and vendors, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, not even medical or emergency (that’s why you buy travel insurance.)
