WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT CRYSTAL
FAQ: 4-Day Goth Yoga Challenge
Q: Why get this 4-day challenge when I already signed up for the Goth Yoga Class?
A: The Live class will be so much fun, but you’ll only get that recording for 48 hours. This challenge is created to build momentum, mobility, and more of that “oh damn, I feel better in my body” kind of feeling. Plus, these classes are yours forever. Practice anytime, anywhere, as many times as you want. It’s your goth yoga archive, forever access to stretch, strengthen, and restore when you need it most.
Q: What if I’m not flexible or strong enough?
A: That’s like saying you can’t clean the house because it’s messy. Yoga is how you build flexibility, strength, and resilience. You don’t need to be anything other than exactly where you are to start. Each class is guided and layered, so you can take what you need, skip what you don’t, and build confidence with every practice.
Q: I don’t have time right now, should I still get this?
A: Yes, because this challenge was made for busy humans. The classes are all on-demand and range from 20–50 minutes. You can do them in any order, at your own pace. Start today, next week, or next month, they’re yours for life. No pressure, just progress.
Q: I’m a beginner, will this be too hard?
A: Not at all. Day 1 is a Foundational Flow that focuses on alignment, breath, and body awareness. It’s perfect if you’re newer to yoga or returning after a break. You’ll learn the basics while still feeling like you accomplished something meaningful.
Q: I’m super out of shape, what if I can’t keep up?
A: This isn’t a bootcamp. It’s a build-you-back-up kind of vibe. Day 2 is a yin yoga, which is floor-based, still, and all about releasing tension through deep stretching. You’ll meet yourself where you are no shame, no pressure.
Q: How does it work?
A: Once you sign up, you’ll get immediate access to all 4 classes , available on-demand with lifetime access. You can do them in any order, anytime, anywhere. Each class comes with a playlist curated to motivate and move you (because music matters). Whether you do them in four days or space them out over weeks, they’re here for you whenever you need a little more goth yoga in your life.
MEET YOUR challenge host
Crystal Rose:
Hi! I’m Crystal Rose. An Elder Emo and a certified 500 hour Vinyasa and Yin Yoga Teacher. I have been practice yoga since 2004, the year after I first listened to The Cure. I started yoga for the physical benefits but quickly discovered the emotional and mental benefits.
As latina who has been practicing yoga and meditation and going to concerts for 20 years, I’m all about making yoga accessible to BIPOC, Queer and alterative misfits who may be scared away from trying it because they don’t fit the stereotypical mold for a yoga practitioner and want to listen to loud music while they move their bodies. This is why I started Health Goth Yoga.
Health Goth Yoga:
HGY is a a virtual studio that hosts yoga, fitness and meditation classes to the sound of alternative, punk, emo, goth and metal music.
HGY interweaves non-traditional movements and alternative music into a traditional asana practice that integrates the other limbs of yoga in an approachable manner. HGY also leads yoga retreats around the world, gathering like-minded adventure seeking weirdos to fun places to practice yoga, explore and create connections.
